Mindful Roots is an independent hair artist salon. Where stylists are side by side in a cozy boho-salon atmosphere, but each operate independently. We're located inside the cutest vintage house off Grand Ave, one of the oldest houses in Lindenhurst! I just loved the history of the building and kept it alive with a complete remodel in 2022. The salon is the whole bottom floor with four hair stations and two amazingly comfortable hair wash bowls.
Current vibe: All of our stylists are very busy but you can request an appointment. I'm not currently doing hair, hangin' with two kids at home. I manage the salon, so if you're looking to rent let me know!

I love chatting and sharing ALL things beauty and wellness. Especially when it comes to advocating for non toxic ingredients in all aspect of my life: myself, my family, house & salon!
Hair isn't "just hair" and we know that, that's why its so important to bring all aspects behind the chair. Starting with a color consult, so there's no confusion on either end getting to the end goal.
Then the next up is the hair service itself, we have always put extra time investing in our continuing education, allowing us to offer the most trending styles. But also consistency is key, if you love the same color and cut every time - we got you!
Last but not least, your feelings MATTER. We want you to absolutely LOVE your hair. We guarantee happiness, and won't stop till that happens!
We have THREE hair artists at Mindful Roots, and we're both passionate about bringing the best behind the chair. We deliver on trend hairstyles and coloring techniques, meanwhile housing all organic products.
