I'm so glad you found Mindful Roots, my passion for a relaxing aesthetic environment starts at the chair but follows you all throughout the salon. The ambiance, the cleanliness, the breathe of fresh air the salon brings when you walk in, is no mistake!
There's perks to running your own space or studio, but there's a lot more expenses that come with it and your usually separate from rest of stylists, making it feel very excluded! This way you get best of both worlds of the salon atmosphere but have your own independence running your own business.

This house was built in 1935 and was used residentially for decades. In 2021 it became a commercial building.
Two years later, we bought the building and turned it into Mindful Roots.

We have four chairs at the salon. Every station is equipped with on floor storage, organization, gold features with a blow dryer holder and purse hook on wall. All of our chairs are ergonomic beautiful chairs from Minerva Beauty.
Each station is unique in its decor for storage, all have a lovely boho vibe with
wicker and plants accents.

We have two shampoo bowls featuring a lever to put up your guests feet, for ultimate comfort and its ergonomic for their backs. The shape of bowl and neck cushion allow the neck to be completely supported.
Another Minerva beauty feature with these beautiful shampoo bowls offering a relaxing experience for your guests. Also each shampoo bowl is equipped with eco heads, sustains water pressure and filters the water.
Also, enjoy our community wax pot at the shampoo bowl. Easy add on service while you're at the bowl.

We have two cozy lounge areas, one on each side, for your guest to wait. On the one side, we have a propagation ladder that really makes the lounge area unique.
Let's not forget a place to rest
and eat for our stylists. There's a fridge, table/chairs, nespresso machine,
filtered hot/cold water, and tea.

We have in house laundry station in our basement, comes with non toxic laundry powder to use if you'd like.
Any cleaning supplies needed are supplied, featuring low tox natural sprays.

Each side of the salon has a color room equipped with cabinets and drawers for storage. Extra shelving for whatever you may need. There's child boosters and towel/product rack with laundry hamper.

There's both storage at the station itself, but also in the break room. or island.
