You won't see me much around the salon but if all the plants are still alive...you know I've been around ;)
Mindful Roots is an independent hair artist salon. Where stylists are side by side in a cozy boho-salon atmosphere, but each operate independently. We're located inside the cutest vintage house off Grand Ave, one of the oldest houses in Lindenhurst! I just loved the history of the building and kept it alive with a complete remodel in 2022. The salon is the whole bottom floor with four hair stations and two amazingly comfortable hair wash bowls.
Current vibe: All of our stylists are very busy but you can request an appointment. I'm not currently doing hair, hangin' with two kids at home. I manage the salon, so if you're looking to rent let me know!

I love chatting and sharing ALL things beauty and wellness. Especially when it comes to advocating for non toxic ingredients in all aspect of my life: myself, my family, house & salon!
I wanted to create a space that feels safe, open to creativity and a place to call home for your business. A place where maybe you aren't ready for the commitment of your own salon but the freedom in having your own business to thrive.
This is where you can do BOTH. Thrive in your own business with your own unique menu, your own hours/schedule but the freedom of less commitment and overhead.
I do all the behind the scenes stuff so you don't have to. That's my mission. Always. If that sounds like your jam, lets chat.
I've been there before, love doing hair but aren't thriving in the environment. or maybe its just time to level up and start your own business.
I think most stylist eventually "grow out of" the typical salon environment of strict schedules, commissions, or the vibe ain't vibin'
